IL MOLINO
A road climbed through the Porto Ercole countryside, with mills hidden by the trees, going towards the water tower.
Over the centuries, the mills were converted to country houses. Our grandparents lived in one of these and we thought of reviving it and bringing out its particular emotions.
The sea that is seen from the old terraces and balconies, gleams blue through the olive trees and the windows. The scent of baked bread from the wood oven mingles with the scent of the orchards near the ancient walls of the former water pool.
Emotions and sensations that we would like to convey to those who wish to visit this place of ours where time seems to have stood still.
Our guests can reach the sea at Porto Ercole and from there reach the islands of Giglio and Giannutri, the Orbetello lagoon, the villages of the Tuscan ‘maremma’ and Saturnia’s thermal baths.
All places loved and frequently visited by both the ancient Etruscans and the ancient Romans.
